Gown Cleaning, Mending, and Steaming Terms and Conditions:

Service Agreement:

1. The Bridal Couturier agrees to provide gown cleaning services, in-store mending services, and garment steaming for the garments in accordance with the instructions provided.

2. Care and Handling: 

The Bridal Couturier will exercise reasonable care in handling the garments, perform mending services with attention to detail, and provide garment steaming services. We are not liable for any damage resulting from pre-existing conditions or inherent fabric characteristics.

3. Stain Removal Disclaimer:

The client acknowledges that there is no guarantee that all stains can be completely removed during the cleaning process. Stain removal effectiveness depends on various factors, including the nature of the stain, fabric type, and the time elapsed since the occurrence of the stain.

3.1. Oil-Based Stains:

The client understands that oil-based stains may be challenging to remove completely during the dry-cleaning process. Efforts will be made to address these stains, but complete removal cannot be guaranteed.

3.2. Bodily Fluid Stains:

The client understands that garments stained with bodily fluids, such as blood, vomit, or urine, will incur additional fees due to the necessity for additional treatments required for occupational health and safety regulations.

4. Purchase of Bridal Protective Bags and Storage Boxes:

The client has the option to purchase bridal protective bags and bridal storage boxes for the garments. These items are designed to provide additional protection and preservation. The cost for each item is as follows:

Our budget friendly protective bridal bags are perfect for storing and protecting your bridal gown in the closet before and after your wedding day and in between alteration appointments.

Our portable fabric protective bag to box is both water and dust proof, after use it folds then zips to create a fabric box for easy storage. 2 clear PVC pockets can store wedding accessories and 2 breathable mesh pockets can store shoes. Bridal gown storage Box: $200.00

Our standard bridal gown boxes are Acid free can safely store most types of textiles. Our boxes are moisture resistant and pH neutral and have a zip up lid. Printed With "THE BRIDE" Logo on the Lid the perfect solution for storing and protecting your wedding dress. Each wedding dress box includes 10 white sheets of acid free tissue paper folded into your gown for proper conservation of fabrics this box is a medium Size, suitable for most bridal gowns. size: 35x55x20cm.

Our museum quality conservation boxes contain no buffering agents and are Acid and Lignin-free and can safely store all types of textiles including delicate silks and wools, laces, and beaded fabrics for years to come.   5. Turnaround Time: 

The estimated turnaround time for gown cleaning, mending, and steaming services is 7-31 days. Any delays will be communicated to the client in advance.

6. Payment:

The client agrees to pay the specified fees for gown cleaning, mending, and steaming, including any additional fees for the purchase of bridal protective bags and storage boxes upon drop-off or before the scheduled pickup date.

7. Alterations and Repairs:

Mending services may include minor alterations and repairs as agreed upon with the client. Any major alterations will be communicated and will be invoiced separately.

8. Garment Steaming:

Garment steaming will be performed to ensure the garments are wrinkle-free and in optimal condition for the event.

9. Liability:

The Bridal Couturier is not liable for any loss or damage to the garments if your garment is unlabeled or labelled incorrectly as these are beyond our control however, we are fully insured for but not limited to fire, theft, natural disasters, and at fault accidents.

10. Pickup Policy:

The client agrees to arrange a time to pick up the cleaned, mended, and steamed garments within 7 days of notification. Failure to do so will result in storage fees of $15 per week. If the garment has not been collected or an arrangement has not been made to collect within 30 days of notification the item automatically becomes property of The Bridal Couturier on day 31. 

11. Cancellation:

Cancellation of cleaning, mending, and steaming services must be made within 24 hours of the scheduled drop off time. Any cancellations after this point will still be charged the initial invoice and must be paid before the item can be collected.
